“It would be helpful if the spring came with installation instructions. I attached it at the top first which was a very bad idea and wasted hours. The way to do it is to screw it onto the bracket at the bottom, then pull it put through the channel with a piece of twine and attach it there. It isn't easy but that's the best way.”
