I purchased this based on several on-line recommendations. My mistake. I bought 3 reels and all three came with end of the spool broken off (shrink wrap holding them together). This made what should have been a 1-person easy job of loading the reels into a 2-person, tangled, frustrating pain the neck! And, because of the way it had to come off the broken spools, it was coiled instead of unrolled, which left multiple kinks in the wire (not good for the longevity of this product, I'm sure). I put it up yesterday and it conducts well enough, but nothing spectacular. I gave it two stars because the wire is decent. To be honest, though, even if it was the best wire I had ever used, I would never buy this again. Not worth the frustration!

I purchased two rolls of this electric twine and placed on reels for strip grazing during the winter, in which the electric fence is moved every day or so. The twine is much smaller than I anticipated, but it gives a good jolt to my cows and none have since challenged it. I run a single strand and it keeps the herd in with no problems.

Love the wire. The top of the spool was broke and it unraveled . This was a pain to get on reel. Should have sent it back.

Should have read the description better, thought I was ordering rope. Haven't put it up yet. Hope the horses can see it!

Not sure how it will hold up in our sun (I'm in FL and many plastics don't live long here) but it appears to be well made. Working with this twine was easy and the conductivity is good - I got almost no voltage drop over 700'.

I purchased and installed 12 rolls of stafix premium nine stainless steel twine nine years ago. I had never used this type of wire before. I had always used either galvanized steel wire or aluminum wire. This stainless steel and poly was very strong and very easy to work with. It was light weight and it doesn't kink while installing it. It stretches well and holds its tension well. Deer do not tear it down like they do steel or aluminum because it stretches out and then comes back in line. Just to pull a short piece between your hands you wouldn't notice that it stretches much but on a thirty foot run you can tell it stretches like a bungee cord. I like it. It is advertised as a temporary wire but mine has been permanent ever since it was installed. I installed more of it over the next two years until my dealer stopped carrying it for other brands that were supposed to be better. They were just more expensive. I tried several other brands and types over the next few years and a lot of it is already gone due to not being able to stand up to the sun. None of it has been as good as the stafix nine strand premium. It is still going strong, even the very first roll that I installed. After beginning with stafix nine strand premium I took down all steel and aluminum wire and replaced it with stafix nine strand premium as long as I could get it. I have been searching for it for years and have thankfully found some again. Now it is time to replace some of the other brands with stafix. I am not an advertiser for stafix just an old cattleman trying to get by and help his fellow man.
