Kencove Braided Electric Twine, 6SSx3CU White, 2,640' Reviews

Braided Electric Twine has become popular and is the preferred choice by many professional graziers. If you are using electric twine for interior fences and are moving them often, you will appreciate the ease in which this product winds on a reel. Comparable diameter, braided twine has a higher breaking strength than regular twisted twine. The interlocking nature of the super-conductive mixed metal, with 6 stainless-steel and 3 tinned-copper conductors, helps maintain conductivity by reenergizing broken conductors.Polyethylene braided twine carries charge over long distancesUV-stabilized for weather resistance2,640ft rollApproximately 144 lbs break strengthIdeal for rotational grazing or portable fencing

Braid is better than twisted twine and the 9 strands (6-ss, 3-cu) really carry the charge. Holds up well. ( By the way, the twist does pretty good, too. It's just not as durable as braid.)

Excellent product. Much better than electric twine. Stronger and carries the current better than twine. Highly recommend this product.

This is about the fifth or sixth roll of the Kencove Braided twine I have purchased - all the others are still in service 6 years later. I love the 6 strand stainless / 3 stand copper - it has worked excellent for me.

Pleasantly surprised with braided twine after using regular electric twine for years. Tougher, more durable and better conductivity overall!

This is good, economical twine. 1) It's braided. I never bought braided before, but it twists up much less and is much better on a reel than twisted twine. 2) Very good conductivity compared to all-stainless twines. 3) Light and strong. An excellent balance of elasticity, tension, and strength. I have 75 ft+ post spacings with little sag. Of course, I have stout terminal posts. 4) I sort of prefer the red-white pattern to black-white. And the animals don't seem to have any preference. The things I don't like. 1) It seems to have more than usual number of flaws, such as kinks in the twine or places where the conductors made a hairpin loop instead of laying flat. But there aren't very man. 2) If it cost the same as 14 gauge steel electric fence wire...that would be great. But this is some of the most affordable good quality twine around. We'll see how long it lasts!

we are rotation grazers, moving cattle daily. The Kenco twine is easy to use, carries voltage well and has good visibility. We have been using half inch tape but like the twine better, especially in high wind.

One of the few you can get in a half mile spool. One had a bunch of tangles in the conductors ant about half way, but it carries current just fine.
