The low cost and compact size of the Mini Reel make it a great addition to any farm, garden, or grazing option. The Mini Reel features pre-molded fence hooks for attaching to existing fence lines and a lynch pin that allows for quick and easy bobbin replacement. This light-weight reel is ideal for paddock divisions, garden protection, temporary holding corrals, and portable camping protection. This reel comes pre-loaded with 660' of polywire with 6 stainless-steel conductors.

“I have used these reels for years and am overall very pleased. However, my latest order of them was less satisfactory. The quality has gone downhill. There is enough play that the lynch pins won’t catch properly. One of the reels didn’t even have the spacer that goes on them. I’m having to double up spacers from old reels (or make my own) to get the reels functional. I called Kencove to address the issue. The person I spoke to was going to look into it and call me back “very soon.” That was a week ago, and I still haven’t heard anything.”

“These re great for shorter runs of wire, but are delicate. We own several of these, but if they are dropped then the two hooks that hold them to the fence or stake easily break off. Half of ours now have one hook. Workable but wish they were more durable.”

“For the price, it is awesome for subdivisions within a pasture. It also saves me from putting the twine on myself. However, I used it tonight and had an issue tightening up the twine. I had to fix this by unwinding the whole reel and threading the twine through the little hole on the handle side of the reel and knotting it. It works great now.”
