The Pigtail Step-In Post will hold your favorite twine or ribbon 34" from the ground. It is made of a robust galvanized high tensile steel shaft. A heavy UV-stabilized plastic coating gives excellent insulation. Installation is made easy by a well-constructed foot pedal. If you need additional lines of twine or ribbon, simply add a few rod post insulators. Total length: 40", 34½" above ground. Made in the USA.

“I purchased 50 of these posts so I could open up my hay field for strip grazing during the winter. The posts are very durable, easy to move and attach the wire. I wished the posts were slightly lower as my young calves walk under the electric fence without touching the wire. Other than that, I'd highly recommend these posts. My herd do not challenge the single strand of hot wire I have ran. I move my posts daily once the herd strips the grass...they are waiting each day by the fence waiting for me to open up the next section for grazing.”
