“I've been using strainers, most of them crimp on strainers on my hi-tensile fences in California for 25 years. About three years ago some of these Quick End strainers were sent by mistake. I'll probably never buy any other kind of strainer again. The Quick-End strainers make the job a lot easier. They are very fast to use, just cut your wire to length and push it 1" into the strainer.
