“I am new to fencing strainers; maybe this is just how they are, but they seem flimsy and cheap to me. The strainer body should be boxed so that the axel of the cog doesn't try to pull out when real strain is applied. Also, the aluminum cog is extremely soft and the frame digs into it. I wonder how long it will last. They do work and do then job, but barely it seems. I left a loop of extra wire when I attached them so that it wont be terribly hard to someday replace them. There will be extra wire to get this done.”
