“I bought these specifically for cutting high tensile. They make cutting the wire much easier with my smaller hands. They only bad thing about them is the spring between the handles came off and got lost in the field on the first day.”

“Good quality for the price. Capacity is stated as quarter inch cable but that is a bit optimistic. It is more like 3/16". You can cut quarter inch if you take two or three bites but it won't fit in the jaws unless you flatten it a little bit. Even then, you would have to be the hulk to have enough grip strength to cut through. The clip that holds the handles together tends to get between the handles and ouch the snot out of your fingers when you snap through a wire. The spring came out once when I snagged it but it went right back in. All that being said, the tool has earned a place in my fence bag due to it's ability to fly through high tensile wire, barbed wire and t post fence ties.”
