Staple Starter - Standard Reviews

4.4 Rating 44 Reviews
Read Kencove Farm Fence, Inc Reviews

Kencove's Staple Starter is very simple to use and has no moving parts to damage. Just insert the staple into the slot and hammer on the pin to get your staple started. Saves your fingers and prevents staples from mushrooming when driving into hardwoods.Once the staple is started, remove the starter. A few additional hammer strokes may be required to set the staple to proper depth.Remember, do not staple wire tight to line posts. Use this staple starter with standard fence staples up to 8 gauge and the wide staple starter (TDSDW) when using wide 2" staples (HB2W).

What a finger saver! And the price was excellent, compared to other sources. HIghly recommended.

This product is good for those of us that are tired of smashing our fingers when we are putting in fencing staples. I found that if the staple got stuck in the driver its because it's too wide at the bottom. I just use the hammer to make the ends of the staple come closer together, then it works great!

Poor quality. Has already begun to bend. My previous one bent then broke, the idea is fantastic and very safe and easy to use. It just needs to be made out of better materials.

Would have been nice for someone packing this to contact and let me know that it would not work with the barbed staples I had in same order. It's build solid but useless to me.

Arrived promptly. It works well, although the weld broke on the first one ... but I purchased two this time!
