The Megaflow Trough Valve is float operated for use in automatic filling of water troughs. Designed for under water mounting only. The float is connected to the valve with a nylon cord. The Megaflow valve is diaphragm operated. Actuated by a pilot pin to create a 1-2 second positive on/off, over ¾"-2½" differential (varies with pressure) for a near hammerless operation. Megaflow valves are a good choice where their high flow, compact, robust, non-corrosive construction and high level of adaptability are needed.

“H I have and still have 2 Jobe valves plus the new one that I ordered. This valve was replacing some a Hudson valve level control. The Hudson valves would fail with in three weeks. After the third failure I replace the Hudson valve with a Jobe mega flow valve. The two old valves have operated for 9 years now. and only required cleaning in the spring. There was no second thought about what valve could replace the Hudson.”

“these were valves were great but I wish they would work at zero pressure as I try to use them in some rain collection systems but they still require that 3 PSI to open. Is there any way to adjust them so that they will open at zero pressure?”

Hello, Practical Peppers. The Megaflow valve cannot be adjusted to open at zero pressure. But the Jobe Rojo Valve has a pressure range of 0-150 PSI, so it will work for rain collection systems.

“These Jobe valves are great. I use them on tanks, I like having the water inlet at the bottom of the tank. I bury or backfill about the tanks a couple feet at most. Keeps all the plumbing clean underground and protected from frost and livestock.”
