“I love being able to test my Gki every day. I think the meter needs and upgrade. It will only show me yesterday's Gki and I have to calculate it for the day.”

Why the test strip ejector and the bluetooth switch aren’t labeled on the device is poor design. The instruction book is just embarrassing. To give just one example, under “Performing a Control Solution Test” it states you need items (d), (e), and (f). But you have to turn all the way back to the table of contents to find out what (d), (e), and (f) are. Ridiculous.
The system also does not pair or receive bluetooth data upon app launch like how I would expect. You need to turn on the bluetooth switch and then open the app and then tap on “Sync” for the results to transfer over. Not a big deal, but it’s a bit irritating compared to many other glucose monitors that transmit data upon the app opening.
Would have expected a control solution and at least 20 ketone test strips in a starter kit. 10 strips with no solution just seems cheap.”
