Disappointed that the test strips to continue to use it are so expensive. Cannot find them available anywhere that I can use my OTC health card allowance.

I like how everything works except for the individually packed test strips. I’m with the other reviewers that the packaging is rather difficult to get the strips out and which way I need to tear it so that I’m not accidentally touching and contaminating the part where my blood needs to be collected. Please improve on this such as considering the packaging design to clearly label where people need to tear open their strips so that it won’t be contaminated.

You refuse to honor your warranty until I photograph error 4. Unfortionately error 4 always changes into error 2 before I can snap a photo. Here however is a photo with your test strip bathed in blood, with the blood uptake light displaying and no reading and then the ultimate error 2. Addition to above: KM will not honor their warranty unless you can photograph error 4. User Report: 1) Test strips are expensive, individually wrapped and 20% fail, won't report blood numbers and are thrown away. 2) only way I can make it work, sometimes, is by lancing multiple holes in finger raising fresh blood until that test strip finds one that it likes. 3) I went to my lab that reports in one hour. An hour and 15 minutes later I did Keto Mojo test. No food, no water no exercise in the interim. Lab report blood glucose 86 and Krto Mojo reports 108. That is too hokey even for a very cheap meter. 4) I will try an inexpensive diabetes meter and at least obtain reliably consistant blood glucose readings that I can record and equate to ketones as follows: Below 100 = in Ketosis. 95 = Ketosis increasing from 1 to 2. Moving down below 90 = Ketones moving above 2 and you are in high ketosis Your first customer service agent said error 4 was sufficient reason to replace your meter. Later a different agent said all the above is OK and meter is within your standards. Now I am getting error 10. Is that still within your standards? Some readings are obviously total nonsense and easy to ignore. Others are within a reasonable range and so more difficult to evaluate. What bothers me is that they don't agree with how I feel or what I ate. Your failed test strips, no reading and thrown away, has now increased above the original 20% bad defective rate. I would perhaps feel better if you ultimately determine you just sent me a defective meter and all will improve with a replacement meter. I don't mean to tell you how to run your business but if you say this meter is up to your company standards then I will just accept that for me the readings I obtain are just too random to be useful in helping me choose between diet and fast as well as specific food items Please honor your warranty. George Cummings 650-948-7700 Apparently photos can't be attached I will email them separantly. This is costing me your expensive test strips not to mention the greater loss of no readings
