Great concept and price, but it takes an enormous amount of blood to get a good reading, compared to other meters I’ve used in the past as a long- term diabetic. I’ve wasted a lot of strips trying to get a good reading. Once you get that worked out you’ll have a great product, but I doubt I’ll be buying any replacement strips. My finger hurt for days afterward I had to go so deep to get the amount of blood required.

The way the strips are tightly packaged makes it VERY challenging to open them without compromising the testing end. Also the packaging does not come with a notch in it, so I have to use scissors every time i want to test (very inconvenient if you are not at home at the time you are testing.). The test strip packaging should have a notch in the side, (away from the test end) so you can open it with ease. (like a ketchup packet)

I bought the new style meter thinking the test strips would be less expensive, but that doesn't seem to be the case at all.

I tried two strips. I could not get a reading on them. I tried to calibrate them but did not know how to find the calibrations score. I tried to call customer service, but was not successful in speaking with anyone.

Sticks work great! Whoever designed the packaging should be fired and ran over by a bicycle.

Packages are too difficult to open. I need to use scissors and I'm afraid I'll damage the test strip. I'm sure they are better protected, but if they came in canisters would the cost be less?
