“Easy and fast with a very cool Bluetooth app. The only improvement that I would like to see is for the app to show blood sugar with the Ketones and GKI data.
One more cool idea is a model that has 2 slots one for blood sugar and 1 for Ketones to facilitate quick measurements”
“I have been using a Keto Mojo monitor for about a year. Just "upgraded" to this one because I hated having to look up my GKI on the calculator all the time! This monitor with the app has solved that problem nicely :)
HOWEVER.....
The strips are really difficult to get opened, and even a little bit more difficult to load into the monitor than the older version. But you barely have to wait for them to be ready for the blood -on the old one I sometimes would draw the blood into the strip before the monitor was ready and end up wasting the strip...
Also, the "eject" button is now on the back of the monitor instead of on the side and it is awkward to eject the used strips....
So, the app is improved dramatically -I never even used to use the app. LOVE that it calculates GKI automatically! And you can add blood to the strips more quickly. But, it is just kind of a pain in the neck to open the individually wrapped strips and then eject them. It's all a bit more messy I guess. I commend the efforts on improvement :) When these kinks get fixed I'm sure I will upgrade to the next new model!”
