“I have had nothing but issues trying to get this new meter to work properly. The old version worked better but now I regret putting forth funds to buy the new version. I rather have a machine that I know will work. I really dislike having to cut open the seal packets because they do not open easily. And again, the meter is extremely unreliable!!!! Very frustrating.”
“the new GK+ Meter is not as good as the meter before it. I'm very disappointed. It's hard to open the foil packets for the glucose and keto sticks for testing. The meter is much slower than the previous meter. To be fair, part of the frustration may be due to that it's different, but even if I get the hang of things, I doubt if I'd add any stars to the rating.
To sum it up - disappointing.”

“Easier to manage the use than the older device. Integrated blue-tooth is useful. With older version, the strips do/did go bad because of exposure to air even in the container...so individual packaged strips are useful but resource wasteful. Also, the newer version gives INCONSISTENT results on same blood, same time -- that is, repeated measurements results in 10-20+%. For long term monitoring, it's useful, but not reliable for short term dieting/fasting purposes. Need a bit more accuracy still.”
“I REALLY appreciated the trade up option. I love that the new strips don’t come up EU like the old ones often did. I had a hard time syncing the app for awhile but after the yearly Apple IOS update, all my apps are wonky for awhile. Things seem to be much better now. I’ve gotten used to the new meter and really do like it and the new strips.”
