“The strips are kinda awkward to deal with. They don't tear away easily from their peers. I can understand though why they are now individually sealed, to avoid contamination or exposure to things that would give false readings.
This was a trade-in, I guess. I was supposed to send the old monitor back when I got the GK meter. But there was nothing in the kit that would have allowed me to send old one back.”
“Unfortunately I did not receive the recycling kit in my package. As a result I can only give a 3 stars as now I’m waiting for it in order to turn in the old kit within the 30 days time period.”
“Everything is more cumbersome. The individually packaged strips are not easy to get out without touching the end of the strips. The position of the place where you put the strips into the meter is awkward, and the strips are shorter, so it’s difficult to put them in without touching the end of the strips. The lance from the previous meter package was easier and faster to use. On the positive, I like how much faster the meter is ready when you do get a strip in. I do like the newer case that’s sturdy. To make it better I would make the strips longer and easier to get to, and I like the previous lance.”
