“Kind of regret purchasing. It’s really hard to get the strips out of the packets even using scissors. The ketone results are matched exactly by my breath tester, so I probably don’t need to poke my finger all the time. Should have trusted those results more. At least now I know that device is accurate and I trust the accuracy of this device. They should make a strip that tests both sugar and ketones at once.
The device needs to be connected and log in each time. The app is a website that also needs to log in all the time, then you have to manually enter the data. It then has a calculator I could’ve used with my cgm and breath test machine to get the GKI. If there’s a guide how to get into ketosis more better faster, I haven’t found that yet. I did get a great discount on it using a coupon code. Grateful for that. I have only used it a few times because it’s cumbersome process and I don’t like sticking my finger. It’s money I could’ve saved, but I wanted to ramp up ketosis to fight type 2 and early stage breast cancer. I will keep looking for the guide. It’s also kind of hard to read the directions very small. Overall, it’s the best system out there, but if you have a cgm or glucometer and breath ketone tester, may be able to do without it.”
“I had a blood ketone monitor before. It was fine. But the beauty of this one is I can measure my blood sugar as well. Thats awesome. Way more convenient. Helped me realize that my plain black iced coffee from Panera was raising my blood sugar. Made me sad but now I know.”
“Wildly inaccurate. No use for data on what foods spike blood glucose as the the values can vary 40mmol. Customer service was also horrible. Don’t waste your money on this product.”
