However, some of our brown shades re-quire an extra step of priming with our Color Prep, before coloring with your desired shade. If you look at our COLOR CHART, you will see which shades require Color Prep and DARK BROWN is one shade of it.

Yes, our Dark Brown shade requires the additional step of using Color Prep first in some situations. If you have grays that need coverage, are going from hair that is very light in color to dark, or have bleached/ highlighted hair.
