“I found the instructions easy to understand, and it was simple to mix and apply the product. A couple of weeks ago, I colored my hair with Madison Reed dark brown, but it didn’t fully cover my grey hair. I thought henna would resolve this issue. Unfortunately, after the first use, some of my grey hair still appeared reddish and wasn't completely covered. However, I believe that I may need to try it again for better results.
Although I really loved the oil, the scent is magnificent. My hair is fantastically shiny and voluminous after a whole night.”

When coloring with our BLACK, a primer - Color Prep is necessary to cover up grays effectively. To see all colors that require Color Prep before dyeing, please see our Color Chart. When Color Prep is not used and our BLACK color is used alone, the color results will not turn out as they should. Grays may not be fully covered, or if they're covered initially, they will soon wash out.

“After using this for the 1st time, below are my results /experience with Khadi:
1. No allergic reaction ( I have severe allergic reaction with hair dye)
2. It’s easy to use. Just follow the instructions
3. A little bit messy, it was my first time so It’s all over the floor.
4. It’s my first day, the color is very natural looking, it didn’t dry my hair even I didn’t use shampoo or conditioner after. It doesn’t perfectly cover my grays, it’s light brown but it’s fine as long as it’s not gray.
