“Great product. I dont have to worry about harsh chemicals. My only concern is that the " black " color is not covering all grays as expected. I used the detox mask but still my greys are covered as brown and washes off easily after 2 weeks. I will purchase only more time and give it a try for more coverage”

Our darker khadi shades "Black" included require using our color primer- Color Prep when there are grays present. Color Prep will deposit a strawberry blonde to intense copper base color; the base color coat helps you to achieve your desired color result.

“I love the dye and oil! I’ve used many henna dyes in the past including a boutique one that comes in a bar form. Those barely colored my hair and if it did it washes out almost immediately. I tried all the tricks from YouTube and other henna sites to help that not happen but to no avail. I’m so glad I found Khadi. “I bought the color and the oil combo. I was very excited when I applied the color, I kept it for 3 hours but it did not covered all my greys. When the second time I washed my hair after 3 days entire color came out. I tried the khadi black color but it did not worked for me”

We're so sorry to hear that your color results were less than optimal! Please note that when coloring with our darker khadi shades and grays need to be addressed, there is an additional step that we always recommend. For gray coverage the use of our color primer Color Prep is of upmost importance. Color Prep deposits pigment that is lacking in white hair, further preparing the hair for the khadi color to effectively cover over those stubborn grays.
Another important piece of information to be made aware of is that our Natural Hair Colors DO NOT work well when used in conjunction with products that contain silicones, and or other chemical form filmers. An all natural hair care regime should be in place prior to coloring with khadi.
