“It’s a pretty good oil. A little heavy for my hair I think. It tends to build up a little more quickly than other oils I’ve bought from khadi, leaving me having to wash my hair more often. Maybe it’s just not what my hair needs. I do kind of wish that the bottles came with different dispensers, because there’s no way to stop how much comes out. It’s always too much, and I don’t want to waste it so I just try my best to distribute it.. that’s probably how my hair is getting too oily too fast.”

Like all our khadi hair oils, Amla oil is a treatment product, which means it's meant to be massaged into the scalp and then left to work for 30-60 min (or maybe overnight for the experienced user) and then shampooed out afterwards.

“I had some hair loss during some high stress times and even a year after the time was past the hair was not growing back. I had improved my diet and was trying scalp stimulating massages (for some months-not just an I’m impatient thing). So decided to try adding hair oil and after two months I was seeing new growth. Will keep using it obsessively. For the record I have very fine wavy hair and I used alma in conjunction with vitality. Each on its own once a week.(left essentially the same review on vitality)”
