“I'm not 100% sure if this Detox mask was the reason, but I can say I have a fair amount of stubborn gray and got fantastic coverage from the henna application afterward. I'm thinking this mask likely played a part. :)”

“Successfully removed other color-depositing shampoo and color-depositing conditioner products and glazes that I had used in the past, without damaging my hair. Be conservative and just add a little bit of water at a time when mixing —I added too much and it got a bit runny. As a plus, the detox mask that dripped down to my forehead actually made my skin feel great.”

“My hair is so shiny and have recently decided to color my own hair and wanted to use a natural way of doing so. To make sure the process turned out correctly I followed the advise of ordering this since I do use products that contain silicone. I was a bit nervous but it turned out perfectly. If you have a standing shower would recommend putting everything in there so easy clean up and just bring a book to read while you wait. Your hair does feel very dry after which made me feel nervous but I decided to keep the process going and my hair is so shiny and silky!!! Seriously the most shine since I was young. Will continue to use these products and so glad I found.”

We recommend using our Detox Mask if you're new to coloring your hair with khadi and are transitioning to coloring with our plant-based hair color line. It may not be necessary to detox your hair every time before coloring. We only recommend doing so if you have used silicone-based products in between dyeing your hair.
