Our Natural Hair Colors, unfortunately, do not lift (lighten) hair color. If your hair color is black, using our Ash Brown shade will have little to no effect. You can always go darker and try our Black or Blue Black shade.

Our natural hair colors are permanent, but if you are experiencing fading, we recommend waiting to shampoo a little longer than the recommended 48 hours. This is because the hair color develops and binds to the hair between when the mixture is rinsed out and when the hair is shampooed.
