“This stuff! I have colored my hair for almost 30 years. Having started at 14, it's been bleached, highlighted, lowlighted, color-deposited, and chemically straightened. I decided to give my mane a break and let my tresses grow out. Earlier this year I had the last of the damage cut and was greeted by my own healthy hair. At 43 years old I found I was sporting some gray, especially in the front. I decided it's not yet enough to really rock the salt and pepper look, so I wanted to find a way to reintroduce color WITHOUT the unwanted side-effects. That's when I found khadi. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical, but after following the directions explicitly-- including letting it process for up to 48 hours before washing-- I was blown away! The color was exactly what I had hoped for. It even covered my grays, turning them into highlights, which was honestly welcome as it introduced multi-dimensionality to the look. The only aspect I wasn't thrilled by was how messy it was to work with. I recommend applying the product in a space that allows for easy clean-up, using drop cloths, and wiping down surfaces that come in contact immediately.”

Coloring with khadi can be a bit messy, but with some practice you will see that you will start to get the hang of it and the application process will become significantly more simple.
Also another piece of advice- If you want more of a solid color deposit, vs multi-dimensional look, just let the color process for a longer period of time and that should do the trick.

“I am so hooked on this hair color, the color is beautiful, but the main reason I love it is because I have my natural hair quality back. I had a beautiful wavy long hair when I was young and the last couple of year I started losing my hair and I was ready to chop my long hair off. But this product made my hair alive and together with some growing hair oils from different companies I am back to my wavy healthy hair. I am in love. It is a pain to apply it though, but for me it’s so worth it It doesn’t stain your sink or countertops, big plus, but it’s little tricky to apply it. But with practice I”m getting better. I”m using it exactly every month, that’s how long the color lasts before my grey roots start showing.”
