“The color came out good, but having to use the color prep first makes for a lenghty and expensive coloring to do every month. I have about 80% long gray hair, and I did get full coverage of the grays. Also, SO MUCH BETTER THAN USING CHEMICAL DYES. I just ditched Madison Reed for good...after using their product for 4 years, my ends were fried from their harsh chemicals. Khadi is WAY better, and gives the gray coverage. I next tried light brown, which required no prep, and the color for me came out dark brassy carrotty red...won't use that one again. Will try medium blonde or medium brown, both which can be used without the prep.”

“I have lots of gray hair and used Dark Blonde with Color prep but most of them weren't covered unfortunately. Next time I will mix Dark blonde with Light Brown which I already used before and got full coverage but it was too dark”

“I'm so happy that I finally made the switch to 100% natural herbal hair color! I've been debating trying Khadi in particular for quite a while because of their impressive shade range. I was torn between trying dark blonde (which, according to the chart, would get me close to my natural color) or auburn. I tried dark blonde first, and I'm quite delighted with the results. It turned out as well as my old chemical color, but didn't dry my hair at all. I did purchase the bundle with the color fixing oil, so I'm sure that helped. My hair has lots of shine and looks natural. The color has changed a bit since I applied it a couple of weeks ago and it's now looking a little more reddish, but I'm fine with that since I was also considering auburn. I'm going to try auburn next. I'm excited to see how it turns out! Thank you, Khadi, for making an excellent product!
P.S. In my photo, taken a day or two after coloring, my hair looks pretty dark. It looks a tad lighter now, especially in the sunlight. And yes, that's my nightie haha!”
