“I’ve had gray in my hair since I was a teenage. At 43 I stopped dying my hair a couple years ago as I was destroying my hair! As someone who cares about what I put in and on my body, I refused to use harsh chemicals in my hair again. After using natural shampoos and oiling my hair with organic oils the brown color starting to come back in. I wanted complete coverage however. I typed in ‘natural hair dyes’ and Khadi was the first site that popped up and I said that’s the one! I’ve seen other henna products before, but they are waaay too complicated. At first I was nervous to use this color myself, but alas I did and the color came out great. I probably watered it down too much trying to get the temp right, but I’ll know better next time! Super easy to use, looks natural, my hair feels healthy, and I have been getting lots of compliments as well. Great product! Perfect for someone who lives a healthy, organic, green lifestyle!

“Spent 4 hours following the directions from detox mask, to color prep to finally the color. I was only attempting to color my Grey roots dark brown. Well I didn't get anywhere close to any shade or tint of brown. The product turned my Grey roots a light yellowish green color. Now I have to figure out how to get the tint out of my hair.”

When gray coverage is needed with our Dark Brown shade an additional step is necessary. Use our color primer- Color Prep before you color your hair with our Dark Brown shade. It will ensure that your grays are properly pre-pigmented and ready to accept the Dark Brown shade; ensuring gray coverage!
