“After ordering your product for the first time I decided that it would not be cost effective to use. I have very short gray hair. Your product cannot be used in small amounts. Problem is with your extensive contract. So many requirements. If your products are so great then you should already know that you can sell them no matter what. But it’s clear who you are cuz don’t see them Khadi emblem on Your product. I no there is an effort out there to get rid of all the Khadi mini mees. You are one of them Fake ones.”

If your grays didn't fully cover; next time increase the processing time of Color Prep to 120 minutes instead. The extended time should provide you with optimal gray coverage on resistant grays.

“I used this product prior to using the henna color in Black, because my natural brown hair has some silvers in it. i was so surprised to see a reddish/orangish tint to my roots after using this product! the black henna has covered the silver completely now and i am so happy with the results. definitely not going back to chemical color!”

“My second go around with this color prep (applied x2hrs after using chelating shampoo x3 washes, no conditioner) yielded good results, but the fine grey hairs around my hairline didn't pick up the pigment too well. Disclaimer: I have straight, thick hair and stubborn grays that even conventional dyes have a hard time covering. Curious to know whether there's something I can do to help, like leave it on for longer or mix lemon juice with the color?”

We recommend letting Color Prep process for 120 minutes for very resistant grays, as you did. If your grays are still not covered, you may need to color your hair with Color Prep again. This can be especially true when first transitioning over to khadi.
Try using saran wrap after you've applied Color Prep to wrap your hair. This will help keep the heat in while the color processes.

Use Color Prep when transitioning from very light hair to dark, highlighted (bleached) hair or covering up gray roots.
