“At first I wasn't sure if this would work as advertised, but it did! It turned my bleached blonde hair into a slightly darker golden blonde, which I was worried might not be red enough to be a good filler. But after following up with the Ash Brown dye, the result is beautiful - no weird tones, just dark brown as promised. Really impressed overall!”

“I really wanted to like this product. I bought it for my mom, who has been searching for a natural alternative to dying her hair. We used the color prep on her hair, followed all instructions, and it made her hair then orange. We then used the dark brown hair dye on top, hoping that once it’s washed away her hair would turn darker. We followed all of the instructions for the hair dye again, however it did not change the orange at all.”
“I use this on my roots in preparation of dying them (with the black color) but I also use it on my whole hair as a treatment every now and then. Like all Khadi colors, it mixes and applies so much smoother than most other brands and is also easier and quicker to remove. I hate the smell of henna but this is actually almost pleasant to me!”

We do suggest increasing the processing time of Color Prep to 90-120 minutes for resistant gray hair for optimal coverage.
