“I’m allergic to ingredients in chemical dye and have been using henna and indigo for my black hair for many years. The henna frequently left an orange color and the indigo’s black faded with just a few washes. Somehow the Khadi prep (henna) turned my hair a reddish tone and the black left a beautiful dark brown lasting color. The prep also did not have as strong a smell as the other henna products. The best part is that both products did not take as long as others to work. I left the prep in for about 2 hours (other henna products 4 hours) and the indigo black for 2 hours (other indigo products 8 hours) and the result is better. I’m very happy with this company’s product.”

“I had really high hopes for Khadi. I purchased the color prep henna because I have some grays and the light brown to dye as a second step.
I did the color prep after washing my hair and left it on for one hour. After rinsing, I noticed that my grays, which usually turn bright red with every other henna brands I have used, were looking still gray with a very light hint of pink!!! I didn’t even use gloves and my hands did not stain at ALL! Every other henna I have used, my hands and nails would turn orange and stain for WEEKS! Pretreatment much tells you about the strength and quality of these products!”
