“I'm giving it four stars in anticipation of it being good. I haven't used it yet, but popped it up to get a feel for it which was easy and it seems sturdy. It's also only getting four stars because, like other people, I'd say it would benefit from a groundsheet, either removable or built in. Built in would be better (if it was slightly porous, like a weed suppressant membrane, to let shower water out). With no groundsheet, I don't relish the prospect of going to the loo or having a shower in a tent with a million midges trapped in the tent just waiting to attack me in the worst possible places. A groundsheet would help keep them out.”
“I’ve only put this up in the house but it’s very solid once up and easy to fold. It looks very well made with plenty of handy features. There’s quite a jump in price from the “next best” similar item but it’s worth it. Also folds properly; not like the excruciating ones that bend into a flat disk. This folds like a tent and storage is far easier. Hopefully it’ll survive the Isle of Coll in the Summer; it’ll be used with our VW California Ocean campervan.”
“Brillinat design, I have tried several cheap tolet tents and all have been poor quality rubbish that do not stand up to any kind of inclement weather. The Khyam version is the Rolls Royce of camping loos, expensive but sometimes you have to pay for quality.”
“There are cheaper versions on the market, but this one seems sturdier. It's so quick and easy to put up and down, I may only put it up when I want to shower. I'm hoping it'll last longer than my previous Outwell version if not subjected to wild weather. Having a shower tent opens up a world of possibilities of very beautiful, simple farm camping fields - no booking required, half the price and so peaceful - give it a go.”
