“Whilst the awning is brilliant when it is up, getting it up is far from simple and impossible for me to do on my own (I'm 5 foot). The awning connector to the T5 VW van also seems too short somehow and as such you do not get the full extension between the tent and the van. We bought an additional Kadoor connector but this doesn't help very much so we may have to fashion a connection of sorts. It would be helpful if it zipped on and off. Our first camp trip we were unable to move the van as we were unable to disconnect the awning without purchasing the additional Kadoor strip, but we were unaware of this at the time of purchase that this would be the case.
Once the awning is up - it's brilliant - there is ample space for our family and the option to open various doors and windows meant we could adjust them to our needs and keep cool/warm as needed.
I would recommend the awning, but just be aware that it really is not as simple as it seems - if you're not over 6 foot, you're going to need help!”
“Feels like quality. Easy to put up and down. Really pleased with the Hexadome. Could of done with some instructions although I did watch the YouTube vid. Just needs a Hexadome carpet!!!”
