“Not yet really tested. We added 2 extra short guys per leg to our old flexidomes, and these were essential. Not sure a single guy per leg will do. We use the tents(we have 2 now) in all weathers, and pole stibility is a regular problem.”

“but..... in reality its needed for the tent irrespective of weather and should be INCLUDED in the price, its expensive for a few bits of string”
