Just as it says on the tin. Will give sufficient light for my tent to party. The transformer supply connection is on a sealed switchable car or bike cigarette lighter source, great if powering from such a battery source. I would have preferred to be able to take the plug apart such that I could connect terminals for direct connection to a battery. What I have to do now is butcher the the plug off and make my own battery connections. Not a problem can't cater for everyone.

Taking advantage of the End of Season sales offers, I decided to purchase (among other items), a NITElight LED lighting strip. WOW, its good and although I have only set it up at home, I'm confident that it will provide great lighting when used camping. It has 60 LED's, with a long cable plus a remote controller. The lights can be dimmed, stay static or flash, offer many colour changes (depending on your mood etc.). The ONLY slight issue if I had to be picky is the fact that it is supplied with a 12V car/cig 'male' plug. This meant I had to purchase an adapter (mains UK 3-pin plug to 12V 'female' socket) for use when connected up to a camp ground EHU (electrical Hook-up). TIP & be aware; MANY cheap adapters are sold on-line, ensure you spend that bit more for one that can take high AMPS - so it can also be used for other equipment such as coolers, TV's etc. Anyway, I have NO qualms in recommending this lighting system (now I just need to figure out the best way to fit it, as my tent is not designed to readily hang it).

Nice lighting, better quality than the last edition! Bought in sale. Not sure I'd have bought it at full price.

on the outside it seems a little plasticy but when you consider the price and hw it needs to hold up to camping life. Its an amazing product for the price.
