“Chlorella has many nutritional benefits and is recognised to help flush the body of heavy metals and provide fibre and protein whilst providing protection against oxidative stress.The powder has a dark green colour which t’s recommended to take two teaspoons in water or juice, but you can also mix it in with recipes. It has a pretty disgusting taste, akin to what I could describe as slightly ‘earthy and fishy’. Personally, I would be looking to take these in capsule form and not raw powder as it is just quite disgusting to mix and use.Overall, whilst I don’t doubt the quality of the supplement the taste is not really for me, along with the colour which is seriously off-putting. I can’t really recommend this organic raw powder and would suggest capsules.”
“Never tried chlorella before, so it was a new experience for me. The green powder finely ground comes in an actual dark glass jar. The high B12 and iron contents help to boost immune system. Chlorella helps detox the body, removes heavy metals, toxins from our system which is so important to stay healthy. The flavour is okay for me, a bit nutty. It's not bitter or sour. I got used to the flavour within last 5 days so I don't mind another day and another portion. I appreciate that's organic product but if it was cheaper I would buy more.”

It does have a taste to it, as is to be expected, and it needs to be mixed in with something to take it. I am trying it by starting with a half dose, which is 5g/1tsp. I add one teaspoon to a cup a soup. It turns it murky green/brown swamp colour and looks terrible, but tastes fine. I cannot say I have noticed any benefit to this, but supplements often have to be taken for an extended period of time before noticing it has been of benefit. I received 200g so at full dose that should last 20 days. At my current half dose this tub should last 40 days. I do feel the is on the expensive side, especially after searching on amazon for other comparable products.”
“Very easy to add this powder to different foods, I often do one teaspoon in the morning in my green smoothie and another later with another meal like soup. I like the fact that this product is organic as I feel more confident in the source of ingredients. The packaging feels lovely and expensive and glass jar is a more sustainable option to other supplement packaging.”
“Arrived in dark glass, this chlorella is finely powdered and 2 tea spoons of chlorella is the daily serving from begin. With time, you can increase intake to 3 spoons and so on. I took it for last 3 days, and it doesn't make me gag, it's quite acceptable by my taste buds. This product is organic and it helps to cleanse the body from toxins which is essential these days. I feel slight improvement in my tummy, less bloating. So far so good. Iron and B12 is very important in daily diet so thanks to chlorella, I wont miss out on these vitamins and minerals. Dark green powder mixed with water doesn't look very appetising but when comes to better health, we need to sacrifice sometimes.I'm happy to try this product. “I tend to view chlorella as a superfood. Whether such a thing actually exists or not is open to much discussion, but nevertheless chlorella is packed with nutrients and has good benefits believed to be associated with it. I’ve been periodically taking it for quite some time and view it as a trusted health food staple. It’s a freshwater algae packed with nutrients; not just those mentioned here, but plenty of minerals, antioxidants and B vitamins amongst others.Naturally, I’m looking for pure sources, so this ticks all the right boxes. It isn’t just the purity here, but the organic status, the using of sustainable farms, and that there’s no heavy metals or toxins, which makes this such a good product. And mentioning heavy metals, chlorella is believed to help eliminate them too.The jar is a larger jar than some of the other KIKI Health products, and allows for daily servings of two teaspoons. Of course, one doesn’t have to always take the recommended daily amounts, depending upon what else is in the diet or one is supplementing with, so the jar can potentially last even longer.The powder mixes well with water, but I’ll admit to using a mini blender rather than using a spoon, of which it works a treat. The chlorella is fine by itself and quite drinkable, but it can very easily be mixed with other powders (which again might be a good way to make the jar last longer). It’s an excellent powder to add to sports drinks, protein shakes or just healthy drinks as it adds a good nutrient and health boost. I’m always a little wary of detoxification claims, but if chlorella does indeed help eliminate harmful heavy metals from the body then I suppose it does in a way detox. Detoxification or not, I’ll take chlorella anyway for everything else associated with it and the fact that I invariably feel particularly well with it in my diet.Another positive is the cracked cell walls for better absorption, which is worth looking for in chlorella products.This is a great product from a great brand, and one I can certainly recommend.”
“200mg gives 20 day's supply. This mixes well with other foodstuffs (I mix into yoghourt).Chlorella (in my opinion) has a distinctive, slightly musty taste smell. This is no different and is certainly no stronger than similar products I have tried. I do not find it objectionable.I have always been a fan of chlorella supplements: although I am unqualified to give an opinion on its nutritional benefits, I rate this product.”
