“I was quite startled when I opened the tub, as I'd read the other reviews that said it would smell (some used stink) of fish, but absolutely nothing when unsealing. The capsules are small, a deep red in colour (quite startling have to admit). They're easy to swallow, and absolutely no returns whatsoever. Composition seems good, and the form factor makes it easier to use than my usual huge (and returnee) fish oil ones, so for the price I'd say it's a good investment”
“good krill oil capsules. Good looking packaging from a well known brand. The capsules are easy to swallow and to me the capsules look a little longer than normal capsules. I have not taken krill oil capsules in the past so i am yet to discover the benefits, if any. Price-wise, quite affordable but a little expensive as the bottle contains 30 capsules vs 2x-3x of that amount for the similar or higher price. Nevertheless, look forward.”
“Unfortunately at least one capsule leaked its contents in the jar and as a result, well, a Krill smelly mess. Not really usable as handling would be messy. I hate giving a one star review though. I have used Krill oil in the past and found it slightly beneficial.”
“I don't know what I expected from a capsule filled with krill but by jingo do they stink of fish. I mean really pongy fishy stinky that hits you in the face as soon as you open the bottle. Obviously I can't dock a star for the smell because, well, it is what it is. I haven't had the courage to swallow one yet in case I'm burping fish sticks all day. The bottle says not - it says "will not leave you with unpleasant fishy burps, reflux or after taste "They are bound to be good for you, how can they not be if they are basically pure krill - whales live on these after all! One thing to be aware of, not to state the obvious, but they are probably not be suitable for people with seafood allergies as they contain crustaceans. You get 30 capsules which are fairly small and will be easy to swallow, once I've plucked up the courage to try one...it might take me a few days, but then, I really don't eat a lot of fish - especially not fishy fish, if you know what I mean (sardines and the like). In all seriousness I will take them all regardless as they are little capsules of pure goodness.”
“They were fine for the first few days after opening but then the air seemed to make them degrade, the oil in the capsule went thick and “claggy”, the outer capsule has deteriorated and some oil has leaked out in the bottle covering all the tablets in an unpleasant fishy oil which smells awful and makes taking the tablets impossible. It seems such a shame. Photo shows tablets on white card which has residue from the outside of the tablets on it from them just being placed on it, you can also see a thick gloopy texture to the oil in the capsule.”
“Before when I use other supplement which contains oil, they are usually sealed in a soft gel. This Krill uses a capsule instead, so that you can see each capsule has some air inside, and it is not completely sealed. So far I do not see there are any leakage, but it do looks a bit odd to use a capsule to contain the oil. And the oils goes to the rim of the overlapping capsule part. The capsule has no smell and it is rather long. It is difficult for me to swallow.”
