“I’m going to go against the grain here, and say this is a really great product. There’s no denying that there is a strong odour and taste, I think I do sometimes hold my breath when drinking (?!). But, you know, I’ve been taking it for 6 months now, and I think it’s just a case of changing your mindset. In China or Japan maybe, people would think it was the most delicious thing to wake up to, and you DO get used to it! Good for the soul to do at least one thing a day that isn’t easy! The equivalent of having a bracing cold shower….?! The powder mixes fine if you’re patient. My priority was whether it was doing anything to help with some significant peri-menopausal symptoms (thinning hair, dry skin, loss of muscle tone….). Nothing at first, then at about the 4 month mark, lots of positives including hair regrowth, yay. I have read many independent reviews and this seems to be lauded as one of the most effective collagen products of its kind. And considering the quality, purity and sustainability of the ingredients, I am definitely willing to embrace the slightly ‘fishy’ odour!”
