“Keeping up with a balanced diet can be challenging, especially with a baby in the house. KIKI Health Organic Psyllium Husks Fibre Supplement has been a fantastic addition to my daily routine, ensuring I get the fibre I need without any fuss. This natural soluble fibre supplement is easy to incorporate into my diet. I usually add it to my morning smoothie or a glass of water. It doesn’t have a strong taste, which makes it versatile and easy to mix with various foods and drinks. The husks blend well and don’t leave a gritty texture, which is a big plus.Since starting this supplement, I've noticed an improvement in my digestion and regularity. It’s gentle on the stomach, which is important for me as I have a sensitive digestive system. The fact that it’s organic is a nice bonus, giving me confidence in its quality and purity.Pros:Easy to incorporate into daily meals and drinks. No strong taste, blends well without a gritty texture.Improves digestion and regularity.Gentle on sensitive stomachs.Organic and high-quality.Cons:Can thicken quickly when mixed with liquids, so drink it promptly.Requires plenty of water to avoid potential digestive discomfort. If you're looking for a natural, effective way to boost your fibre intake, KIKI Health Organic Psyllium Husks are a great choice. They’ve helped me maintain a healthy digestive system amidst the chaos of family life, making them a staple in my kitchen.”
“The proven health benefits of Psylllium husks don't need to be discussed, here: These vegan capsules contain organic husk at the lower end of the recommended daily dose, but even at two daily that still comes only to pennies, so they are great value. I really like the packaging too, an old-school brown glass jar. Recommended.”
“The dose for these supplements is 1-2 per day and, even if you just take 1, you are getting a reasonable amount of fibre which is always good. I need help to speed up my digestion so I have been taking 2 and am happy with the gentle results - nothing extreme which is always good.I'm not sensitive enough to be able to tell the quality from the supplements. The packaging and branding both look good but I'm not sure the higher than average price is necessarily worth it.Very happy to take them but I think the price would stop me ordering more.”
“I'm a longtime fan of Psyllium Husks and normally buy the very large 1kg bags. These capsules are more convenient as you don't have to mix anything up with water and measure out doses. Just swallow and have a drink, easy. The down side is obvious - you get a much smaller volume. So you need to consider what your own personal daily dose is.These capsules are 850mg of husk each, which is a LOT less than most people take of the loose powder. I take about 8g a day in 2 portions, so that's about 9 capsules and this bottle will only last a couple of weeks.I think these capsules have a place based on the portability and convenience. I'm using them when away from home and travelling. But it'd get expensive if you take a larger dose like I do.”
“I have been putting Psyllium Husk on my cereal in the mornings as a great supplement for roughage, however it does change the texture of my cereal. With these Psyllium capsules I can get a daily dose of Psyllium without spoiling my cereal. The capsules are quite large but I don't have a problem swallowing them. You need to drink a lot of water with these capsules but drinking plenty of water is a good idea anyway. The recommended dose is one or two capsules a day but I find that one is plenty for me and with 120 capsules in the bottle, this pack should last me a couple of months.”
“Great supplement for helping increase your fibre intake. Comes in a nice glass bottle too. You get 120 capsules and the recommended dose is 1-2 per day with water, so this could last you up to four months. The capsules are also free from gluten and wheat, with no artificial colours, preservatives, sweeteners or fillers. Seems good quality and comes from a UK based company which gives me confidence in the product. Highly recommended.”
“This Psillium Husk food supplement is made from the ground up seeds of the Plantago Ovata Plant, presented in a hypromellose capsule. It is not regarded as a medicine, although some constipation medicines do contain this same supplement. The seeds are a good source of soluble fibre, and when taken into the gut, they form a gelling reaction, which bulks up and softens the stool, and thus helps peristalsis. The dose recommended here is 1 - 2 capsules per day, taken with plenty of water. The dose in each of these capsules (850mg) appears to be on the lower side.Other capsules on the market contain more than 2g per capsule, and still allow you to take 2 capsules per day. When bought in powder form, you can take up to 15g per day (adding it to food & smoothies). When recommended by a doctor for certain medical conditions, then the dose is double that (30g or more / day). One wonders why the recommended dose here is so low... If 15g is considered safe, then why are the makers saying the maximum dose here is 850mgs x2 = 1.7g / day.The final thing is the price... That is (currently) £22 for 120 capsules, which puts it firmly at the very expensive end of the market. Why is that? It is not clear. My advice would be to buy 500g or 1kg of Psillium powder, and add it to various foods throughout the day.I don't doubt this is a good supplement which contains what it says on the bottle.I just think it is massively better value for money to buy the powdered supplements in bulk.If you like the convenience of capsules, and are OK with the price, then go for these.

“The first thing I feel that I should mention with this product is the sheer quality of the packaging; these supplements come packed in a glass bottle with a metal lid and seal. The weightiness and smoothness of the glass lets you know in advance that the manufacturers of this product have aimed for a high quality product. The seal is well affixed and any tampering would therefore be immediately evident, ensuring that the product is safe to consume. Having been a fan of taking fibre supplements to keep me regular, I know very well the properties of psyllium husks. These work brilliantly and keep everything moving along as it should. Personally, I have always found the recommendation of taking two capsules of psyllium husks to be rather high, and so I take only one capsule and that works well for me. Always remember to only take as much as the recommended dose (anything higher will resort in many trips to the bathroom in quick succession!) and always take these supplements with a full glass of water (I recommend at least 400ml). Overall: Great product at a great price point. Highly recommended.
