“I wanted to try this organic black seed oil because it promises a wide variety of health benefits and I can also put it on my head to help my hair grow better. I am happy to try supplements from Kiki Health because they appear to be a reputable company with a wide retail presence. The Soil Association organic certification, which I have checked, is reassuring. The oil is yellow and smells strongly like tea tree oil. It tastes strongly herbal, perhaps like rosemary. I’m not all that keen on swallowing it neat and think I might have preferred capsules. The recommended dose is 1 teaspoon (per day?), which means that the bottle should last 25 days. The bottle does not pour as well as it might (the top is not the same as pictured in the listing, see my photo), so it’s easy to get oil on your fingers or on the outside of the bottle. The best before date is December 2027, more than three years away, which is great. These are just my initial observations after a couple of doses. If I have anything to report after using more of the product, then I will update this review, however I do not expect to observe any obvious changes.”
“Black seed oil is an herbal ingredient derived from the plant Nigella sativa (black cumin) and has many medical properties. Therefore, it has many uses. I have used it for a few months now and have found it, almost a wonder oil, useful for many things, too numerous to go into. Therefore, it is good to find a high-quality version of this oil available in a significant quantity at a very reasonable price.”
“High strength black seed oil that give many many uses and so many health benefits. The quality is great nice and thick. I add it into cooking or use on skin”
“Traditionally, black seed and black seed oil is used as a medicine or for general health benefit. I usually take it on its own, one teaspoon. You can mix it with honey. This will help with the flavour. It does have a very strong flavour. Not very nice flavour to be honest, unlike the seed. It causes a slight burn down the throat. Could be just me as I’m a little under the weather. Based on the taste and smell, it does seem like very good quality.”
“I have been taking Black seed oil gummies for the pst few months but was keen to try the cold pressed oil. This Black Seed Oil is from a brand that I trust. The oil has a mild taste and smell with what I can only describe as a peppery aftertaste, not unpleasant. There are so many benefits to black seed oil and I appreciate that this one is cold pressed and organic. Highly recommend”
