“I love the kinsa Thermometer. I have had this thermometer for two years and have used this for my two babies, my husband and myself whenever we are not feeling well. It is very accurate and easy to use. I only have to put the thermometer in the outer ear canal for one second, let it beep, and it gives me an accurate temperature. Since the thermometer is so quick it is easy to take temperatures on my squI'my chI'dren. The readings are quite accurate especI'lly since it is placed in the ear instead of on the forehead. The temperatures also automatically sync with the app and the app gives us great advice on how to manage the elevated temperature (take fever reducers, use cold compress, and stay hydrated) or if we need to be more concerned and contact the doctor. The app is easy to use and can also record temperatures for different members of the family. I'myself am a physician and would highly recommend this thermometer and app for personal use.”
“The ear thermometer is great because it's very fast and quite accurate although sometimes I feel like it can vary some if we take the temperature again right away. It makes a beeping noise that can be slightly loud in your ear but I love that it's a digital response with a healthy or sick face I'mediately.
We haven't hooked up the ear thermometer to the Kinsa app as we haven't felt the need; we have the Kinsa stick thermometer as well that has to use the app so we never connected the ear thermometer.
My toddler loves this thermometer and actually likes getting her temperature taken with it'so that is a HUGE bonus, in my opinion. I would definitely buy the ear thermometer again.”
“The Kinsa Smart Ear Themometer app was a great tool for when my kids are sick. The app is really easy to use and I really liked that I can also make notes of which medications were given and at what time. I also loved that I can organize and store temperature readings and notes for each of my kids. The app made it'so much easier to relay information to our pediatrician when one or both of my kids have been sick. Both of my kids refuse to sit'still when I need to take there temperature, so it was nice how quickly this thermometer gave a reading. However, after just a couple of months, the thermometer began to give inconsistent readings. It would give very different readings, often more than a degree in difference, in readings that were just seconds apart. A few times it would just tell me low temperature, instead of a reading. The app is fantastic, but the thermometer was unreliable.”
“I bought this when my son was a baby thinking it would be easy but our pediatrician told us his ears are too small to get a good reading. We?ve been using it for ourselves and its helped us get through COVID-19 to make sure we don't have fevers. I haven't started using it on our son yet but will when he?s a little older. “I purchased the Kinsa Smart Ear Thermometer while I was pregnant with my daughter in 2018. Luckily, I hadn't had much use for it for the 1st year & a half after I bought it. With the recent onset of COVID-19, I have had much more use for the thermometer. My wife tested positive for the virus & our 16 month old daughter & I were quarantined at home with her. I had to check our daughter?s temperature multiple times a day for 2 weeks. The Kinsa thermometer turns on with the press of a button & is ready in a second. It is comfortable enough that it does not bother my daughter at all to check her temperature. I get a reading in 2 seconds. I found the thermometer to be accurate, also using it on myself multiple times. I'did not connect it with the app, although it'seemed easy to do. I wouldn't use a different thermometer after using the Kinsa Smart Ear Thermometer. I would recommend it to every mom.”

“I bought the kinsa smart ear thermometer a little over 2 yrs ago. I purchased this shortly after having my 1st son, now we have our 2nd. The thermometer has been very handy and pretty accurate as long as you enter the ear canal as directed. Having the app linked to my phone is super helpful to keep track of previous readings, notes as well as medication dosages. Another plus is it is FDA approved. There is one thing I would change though, it beeps when temperature is taken. It can be disturbing when lil one is sleeping. Overall, i am happy with my kinsa and would recommend.”
