It is great for fidgety kids, or husbands who can't seem to not talk while they are getting their temperature taken with a traditional thermometer. The best feature, and the reason I went with Kinsa over every other thermometer on the market, is the app. Have you ever called the doctor to tell them you or your chI'd was sick and couldn't quite remember the onset of symptoms. Well, this takes the guesswork out of it. You can log symptoms and any medicine taken and it records your temperature in real time. You can also have a remI'der set on when to give the next dose of medicine. This Kinsa is a savior for busy moms and forgetful people alike!”

We own other digital thermometers but always use and prefer the Kinsa. it's ease of use and coordination with the app make it a staple for our first aid kit. “I've used a few different thermometers, and they never seem to be accurate. The Kinsa thermometer is surprisingly lightweight and effective. It can be difficult getting a reading if the tip of the thermometer gets anything on it like earwax. If this happens; it will read low, so it's important to clean it frequently.”

“I have used this thermometer off and on over the last couple of years and it is always reliable and very easy to use. Using the app, you can set up different profiles for everyone in your house and have base temps and then track their temperature throughout any sickness. It is very easy to use on younger kids and if super finicky, can always just do when they are sleeping/laying down. Have found this to be one of the better ear thermometers in terms of accuracy, ease, and the addition of the app which is a nice way to keep everything in 1 place and track it.
