“This thermometer is awesome in theory. Super quick, easy to use, logs the temps right in your phone. However, it's completely innaccurate. My daughter recently had a fever and we consistently got temps ranging from 97-103 just seconds apart.
I really want to love it, and I'do love the concept, but when your chI'd has a fever, accuracy matters.”
“We love our Kinsa Smart Ear Themometer. We started using after the birth of our second chI'd. It has come in very handy not just for the kids but for also us adults. The fact that we can'track our temperatures through the app is amazing. No more trying to remember what the previous temp was. it's also very easy to reach with the smiley and frown faces. The ear piece is very comfortable as well and fits in even the tiniest of ears. The cap has a great way of locking into place when not in use. We've had issue with loosing caps in the past. This one def stays on their. The app is very easy to use as well and it's great to see previous information as well. You definitely get a lot for the price.”
“We have had two of the kinsa thermometers first we had the oral/underarm one and really like it. we switched to the ear version of the kinsa thermometer to give it a try. We have the first ear thermometer kinsa came out with. I was not sure it was very accurate and still concerned about it accuracy. I had another thermometer that Was know to be accurate and Kinsa was not very close to it most the time. The hardest part with the kinsa ear is getting it into a chI'd's ear to get a correct accurate temperature which can be hard with a chI'd who wants to move. I personal decided that was not worth the time to fight my chI'd and went with a thermometer that is touchless. it's features are nice. Enjoyed how it connects to the phone just wasn?t the right thermometer for my family.”
“It works fine. It takes pretty accurate measurements and ok, the app is great too. What is annoying about it is that you have to press the button many times for it to start working. When I just bought it and turned it on, it showed the message that batteries are already low. Really?”
