My only complaint is that the first reading taken is typically different by about a degree than subsequent, so I'd have to take a second and thI'd reading to make sure what I was reading was accurate. I'm not sure if it maybe needed more time to "warm up", since I would use it within a few seconds of turning it on. Otherwise, it's a decent, easy to use thermometer.
