I was able to try out this thermometer thanks to the WeeSpring parent panel. I was very impressed. I have previously been using an ear thermometer from when my first son was born. The best part about it was that when my kids get sick, there is an app that you can record all their temps on. I was super impressed with the fact that I could organize the app by member of my family. It was very easy to use, I just down loaded the app, connected to the thermometer and then started using it I'mediately. I was kI'd of amazed how quickly it gave the correct temp. My old one took about 10-15 seconds, which may not seem like a lot, but when you have a crying kI'do with a double ear infection, it really can be. This one gave me the temp within a second. I give this thermometer an A+. The app pushes me over the edge, because my husband was able to use it and then record temps, which helped keep us organized and informed on what the temp really was.

Great design for a thermometer. Ease of use for taking my son's temperature was really good and the app that pairs with the thermometer was very useful. Navigation within the app took a couple of minutes to get used to but i was up and running after 5 minutes. My only complaint was that the temperatures I recorded for my son over a 1 minute perI'd was different over the four times I checked. It wasn't a huge variance, only by a degree or so but something to keep in mI'd.

We have a 2 year old and he just started school in September. We have been dealing with sickness, ear infections, fevers and runny noses. I felt like the Kinsa Smart Ear thermometer was very accurate. It is so hard to get a 2 year olds temperate, especI'lly when they don't feel well, they don't want to be touched. We had no issues at all with taking his temperature. I love that there is an app for this Thereometer. I loved being able to see whether his temperature went up or down without having to write it down on a piece of paper that I was probably going to lose. My favorite feature is that the app lets you know what you can do next after taking your chI'd's temperature. You can add any symptoms that your chI'd may be having and from there it will take you to a site that helps you with the symptoms your chI'd is having. As a first time mom I found this very helpful. I remember how scared I was when he woke up with a temperature of 102 and it wouldn't go down. I am so glad that I had this amazing thermometer to ease my mI'd. The Kinsa also allows you to add pictures, remI'ders and notes. I found this helpful becuase I was trying to remember what he needed but kept forgetting the notes at home. One last feature that I love is that you can add when they last took their medicine and which one. I would highly recommend this thermometer! I received this product from the weeSpring Parent Panel.

At first I was hesitant about owning this type of thermometer because I had been under the impression that my pediatrician would need an old school reading if my daughter was sick (think rectal reading), but this has not been the case - every time we have gone, the nurse has just used one of those that goes along her forehead and bam - a reading! So, I was intrigued about getting the Kinsa smart thermometer and I was excited to see how an app would work with it. I've been pleasantly surprised at how amazing this app is. After downloading (app available for google play and apple), it walked me through each step to turn on and set up the thermometer. Then it asked if I wanted to set up family members and I thought why? Well this is because you can store multiple readings which I think is my favorite feature of the app! Each time you take a temperature, you tell it which family member it's for and then you can store all the readings for future reference. The app will also ask a series of questions to help determine if you should seek further help, which I would not completely depend on but it is helpful. What kI'd of a thermometer does that, well this one does! The actual thermometer is super easy to use. I hit the button, aim into the ear, push the button again, wait a few seconds and I got a reading! This is very helpful for us, because my toddler will run away at the mere sight of the "other" thermometers. This one wasn't scary looking I guess. Whatever it was, she was not afraid of this one and let us test it on her with no tears! The only con I see is that it requires a battery, so you have to make sure the battery is good which could be kI'd of a pain to remember. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Ear Thermometer. I absolutely love it!

I have trI'd the Kinsa thermometer before in the past, about 4 years ago, but at the time I was unable to use the thermometer as I'did not have an iPhone. I was really excited to get the chance to try it again now that android is compatible. The thermometer seems to be pretty accurate. I compared it against some of my other trusted thermometers and it was able to get the same temperature reading, in a much quicker time. On average, I would say it takes about 5 seconds for the thermometer to give me the reading once I click the button after it is in my daughter's ear. I also received this thermometer at the perfect time, as I had owned it about 2 days before my 2 youngest chI'dren both came down with severe colds and fevers. It was fantastic! Having sick chI'dren is never easy, but this thermometer made things a bit'simpler. I'didn't have to fight my 1 year old to take her temperature, I simply had to wait 5 seconds. It is the best thermometer I have ever owned, and I'don't say that lightly The app is very easy to use and navigate. I loved that I could see the progress of my youngest daughter's fever as her cold progressed. I also could see that the ibuprofen was having an impact on her fever. I'did receive this product for free in exchange for my review, through the weeSpring Parent Panel, and I am so grateful for it!

I received the Kinsa ear thermometer as part of the weespring parent panel for my honest opinion and review. First off, I was very excited to receive this thermometer because I've been using the ?under the arm? method, with a regular thermometer, on my two toddlers. Trying to wait on a thermometer to read the temp from under the arm can'take some time and with wiggly toddlers that can definitely be a hassle. The Kinsa reads a temperature in 1-2 seconds max. it's extremely fast, which is amazing when dealing with babies or toddlers. I really enjoy the added feature on the Kinsa where it'shows a happy or sad face, I'dicating a good temperature or a fever. I'downloaded the app that connects to the Kinsa thermometer through Bluetooth. The setup of the app and the Bluetooth connection was a breeze. It was super easy to connect the thermometer to the app. I really enjoy having this app connected with the Kinsa thermometer. On the app you can add each member of the family so each time you take someone?s temperature you can add their personal temp under their name and it keeps a record. After taking the temperature you can also add what symptoms the person is having and the app can give suggestions on how to alleviate those symptoms or if it's time to take a trip to the Dr. The ONLY downfall to this thermometer, and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is that I noticed if you take someone?s temperature in one ear and then I'mediately switch ears and take the temperature again it will vary by about 2 tenths of a degree. Also, I tested it against the regular thermometer that I have been using for years (under the arm) and the temperature varI'd by up to 5 tenths of a degree. It made me concerned that it wasn?t super accurate. I would still suggest this thermometer to a friend because the features are worth it and it's not a HUGE difference in temperature. I also really enjoy that I'don't have to hold it under my 1 and 2 year olds arms for a whole minute and it's done in about 1 second. Overall I feel like this is a great product!

I had to take my little one's temperature while she slept and it was so fast and easy that it didn't bother her in the slightest. For my older one, I typically use an under-the-tongue thermometer. She loves that this is much more comfortable. The read-time is almost instant and it is accurate, which is most important. I also like that it clearly identifies whether or not fever is present, in addition to the temperature reading. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Ear Thermometer.

I was given this product to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and I am so happy I'did! I wouldn't typically buy a thermometer that had an app as a feature, but it ended up being my favorite part. I created profiles for each of my kI'dos in the app and it would automatically sync to my phone. From there you can input any other symptoms your kI'do may be having and it will give you tips of what to do next. It offers a little extra reassurance when decided if you should call the doctor or let it ride. I was also very please with how quick and accurate the temperature comes back. I typically take two to three readings with my forehead thermometer, but after using this one a few times I will trust the first reading I get. I am not one to generally give out 5 star reviews, but I feel like this one definitely deserves it!
