“I received this Ear Thermometer from the weeSpring Parent Panel. It naturally arrived right after we (my son and I) recovered from being sick, but we put this thermometer through its paces anyway! We found it to be pretty accurate (checked against an oral thermometer), and while temperatures sometimes varI'd within a few minutes, it was generally within 0.02 degrees F, a variance I fI'd acceptable. My husband and I have been looking for an easy to use, reliable, non-oral thermometer for all of us to use, and this one definitely checks all the boxes. This takes a temperature FAST - so helpful with a busy, fussy toddler! The app is a major bonus; it's user-friendly (setup is a breeze), and being able to track temperatures along with symptoms will be incredibly helpful the next time we need to go to the doctor for sickness. On top of that, you can'track medications (it will remI'd you of doses), and I'vestigate common illnesses and potential symptom soothers. My only complaint (and it's not a big one, by any means) is that the latter two categories link to an outside page (as do the coupons). I wish all the features functioned in-app, in case I needed that information, but was out of the reach of wifi and/or cellular service. Overall, this thermometer is great, and we're thrilled to have one at home. Truly easy, reliable temperature-taking, at last!”
“This thermometer was very accurate and very easy to use. I love that it had the ability to store the temperatures I took on the app, I could even select which family member's they were. The app itself is very easy to use and navigate. The thermometer also tells you if the temperature you take is a fever or not, so there's no second guessing if anyone has a fever. I also love that you can'track symptoms, medicines and illnesses on the app. So no more having to write down or remember what time you gave the last dose of medicine. “I received this product to review as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel. The Kinsa Smart Ear Thermometer is a great product. It is very easy to set up the thermometer with the included batteries. It is also easy to download and set up the smartphone app. The thermometer has been very accurate for all of my family members from toddler through adult. It is quick and painless to take a temperature reading. Only 1-2 seconds and it is done which is great for busy kids. The app allows you to set up a different profile for each family member. After taking the persons temperature I then was able to select the persons profile to save the temperature record to track. I really liked that this thermometer works on its own and also allows you to track the information through the app. You can also track other symptoms that can be helpful when going to doctors appointments. Overall excellent product that I will recommend to anyone in the market for a new thermometer.”
“I received this thermometer as part of a weespring parent panel. I sort of like this thermometer, it is quick and easy to use. The app is also easy to use. What I like about most is that you have different profiles that stores the temperatures, symptoms, and medication times. My only complaint is that I'didn't feel that it was super accurate all the time, which is common with eat thermometers. My son had a temp. Of 101 and it read 97 a couple times.”
“I was always skeptical about an ear thermometer. I'didn't know how truly accurate they would be, but I have to say that I love this thermometer. It was super quick to install the app and add each of my chI'dren (including myself) on there. You can even add symptoms, medicines they will take and remI'ders of when more medication is needed. My oldest (5) sometimes gets nervous when her temperature is taken but she did a great job after I told her how quick and easy it was. I placed it in her ear, pressed the button on top, heard the beep, and all done! The accuracy between each ear was also very close together. I will definitely continue to use this thermometer as well as the app to help me stay organized when my chI'dren are sick. “Absolutely love this thermometer! It is easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to store. The app was also easy to navigate. This feature makes it'stand out as it logs and compares previous temperatures. We compared the thermometer with other thermometer readings and found it to be accurate. When our kids have fevers, we usually take their temperatures multiple times and different ways to get an overall idea of their temperatures. The thermometer reads temperatures very quickly and each time we took repeated readings, they were all similar to each other as well as similar to other temperature readings (we were looking to compare for accuracy). For those who are tech savvy, they will also enjoy the app. You are able to add medications and keep separate records for different chI'dren. The Kinsa will be used each time our little ones are under the weather. Thank you to the weeSpring parent panel for offering this product. “The Kinsa Ear Thermometer worked so quickly and so easily. It is more reliable than the forehead thermometers I have and measured accurately in subsequent readings - which is a huge advantage when my toddler wants to move and pulls away just as I approach her to take a reading. With the forehead thermometers I have, I'must wait a few moments and then retake the reading to ensure accuracy.
The app is really handy, easy to navigate, and it's great that you can add each chI'd'separately to track readings. The set up for the app was super easy, step by step!

“This product has made my life so much easier when I am trying to get the temperature of my toddler. If you have trI'd to get a 2 year old to sit'still long enough to take their temp you know that is sometimes impossible. Thanks to Kinsa I am not longer wrestling them around. The Kinsa Smart Ear Thermometer provides a accurate temp within one second of having in their ear. The readings are also nice and big to see not only on the thermometer screen but also when you sync it up to the app.
Which I LOVE the Free Kinsa App that you can have connected to your phone. Once you take the temp it will send it to the app. Where you can'track temperatures that your kid may have while they are ill. Also once you take the temperature you can also track any other symptoms that your chI'd may have. The app is connected to WEBMD and MAYO Clinic. Besides tracking the temperatures and symptoms through the app you can also log any medications you maybe giving your chI'd when they are ill. You can put in the dosage, time, and even set a remI'der for the next dose.
I also found it cool that if your school is using the same thermometers you can all be connected to let the parents'know of possibly fevers your chI'd has at school, and what illness are going around.
The Kinsa Smart Ear Thermometer really so easy to use. This company has thought of everything a new parent may need when dealing with kids being sick.
You can also use this thermometer without the app if you would like. it'still works just as fast.
