“Not accurate reading. My daughter has a 102.14 temp on a ordinary/ regular Thermometer but when i used this “Kinsa” is not accurate its reads 98 temp only. Will return this one.”

We just spoke with Nadia, our Customer Support Lead about this issue and If your thermometer is broken in any way we are more than happy to help you get it working as it should or we will replace it, at no cost to you.
After reviewing your conversation, and the videos you shared, we've determined that your QuickScan is in fact working as intended and therefore we cannot provide you with a refund. Unfortunately, we cannot, under any circumstances, issue refunds for buyer’s remorse, or because the product was not what you expected.
In the videos you provided, each time you took a temperature reading of an object, your wrist, etc, the QuickScan responded with an accurate temperature reading, or in the case of the table, a low reading error of "L", all of which were appropriate responses. It is important to note that your technique in the video could be cause of any inaccurate readings that you experienced. To take an accurate reading the position of the thermometer is important, you'll also need to allow time for the reading to appear on the screen prior to pressing the button again. If we've missed something or if you've like to move forward with recieiving a different thermometer model, like our QuickCare feel free to let us know. I think you may find the QuickCare easier to use.

“Super easy to use and nice that you don’t have to clean it afterwards. But, it typically reads high compared to the oral thermometer and readings are not always repeatable even in same spot so hard to feel confident in the results.”
