“This is the speediest and easiest yet of the Kinsa thermometers, and I LOVE it and the continued ability to log my temperature on my app. I don't know why anyone uses anything else, frankly, especially if they have children and/or infants in the house. Our 15 month old granddaughter approved it (usually taking her temp, even with the ear thermometer or competitor's touch thermometer's resulted in screaming and crying. With this, it was a non-event. I gave ours to my daughter and will order another.

We would love to help resolve this issue for you, but we need a little but more information on what exactly you are trying to accomplish. It sounds like you are wanting to use the thermometer, separate from the app? If so, you can follow these steps
1. Find the thermometer's button and click it once to turn it on.
2. Wait for APP to appear on the display
3. With "APP" showing on the display, VERY QUICKLY double-click the same button. (Think the same speed as double-clicking a mouse)
