“I am so impressed with this Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer. We've had the hardest time fI'ding something that my 3 year old will use without a fuss and we've struggled to get accurate readings. “I have trI'd a wide variety of thermometers on the market, from fancy ear/temporal to good old "regular" thermometers. When I got the opportunity to try this thermometer as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was skeptical. This seems like just a "regular" thermometer with an app that I would likely never use. Well, I am changing my tune. With my first kid, I could easily remember what his temperature reading was, what/when meds were administered, and any other symptoms. With two little ones... not so much. I actually really love that it will automatically record the temperature and the time and then you can add in meds or other symptoms. In the age of telehealth, you could even screen shot that data to your doctor! The thermometer itself works well and is fast enough to get a temperature reading on a three year old before they get distracted. I would describe the thermometer as working well but not "reI'venting" the thermometer itself. But, if you're in the market for one, this is a good one!”
“I love this thermometer. I've trI'd all different kI'ds (forehead, under the tongue, etc) and this one is by far the quickest and most accurate! Wrestling a toddler to take a temperature is one of my least favorite things. So I can appreciate the quickness that this thermometer offers!! Usually I quickly put it in their armpit while I'm changing clothes. It takes under 10 seconds to read. I rarely use the app, but when I'do it is nice to be able to track how long my baby or toddler has had a temperature and if it's rising or falling. Each kid has their own profile. This thermometer is also durable. This thing has been dropped and bent in all sorts of ways and still operates without issue. Would 10/10 recommend this to anyone!! “What a great thermometer! I love the fact that I can use it with or without the app. The app is pretty cool also - you can make different profiles (5 in our household!) with different little avatars. My older kI'dos thought it was fun to choose which animal they wanted to be. I love that it automatically saves the temperature readings. No more trying to remember what the temperature is when talking to the RN or doctor! Another great feature on the app in my opinion is the little elephant that comes up on the screen to distract the kI'do while taking the temperature. It even made it fun!
I'did test the thermometer against two others in our household and found that the Kinsa thermometer is accurate. This is always a worry of mine with a new thermometer.
All in all, GREAT thermometer and totally worth it for the app. I'll be using this for years to come.

“I was happy to fI'd that this thermometer, as promised, does offer results within 8 seconds of measuring. As far as I can'tell it does not appear to work as a stand-alone thermometer, so I'did need to load the app on my phone first in order to get a reading. The temperatures are very quick to appear and also very accurate as well, even showing gradual temperature changes to a tenth of a degree -- which vary much more than I'd realized. The app itself runs very smoothly and I was able to set up profiles for each person in my household. It then records and tracks each person's temperature over time, offering detailed trends, so this might be ideal for tracking basal temperatures. If someone does have a fever, a quick quiz checks, and records, any other symptoms they may have. This is great if you do not know much about health. Tracking COVID infections is an obvious possibility, and it offers recommendations along those lines. It was comfortable to use, since the material is soft and there's no risk of the problems associated with glass thermometers, like my mom used when I was a chI'd. “I received the Kinsa Smart Thermometer from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This thermometer is something I never knew I needed, and now don't want to be without. I set it up as soon as it arrived, and was amazed at how easy it was to use. I set up a profile for everyone in my family in a matter of minutes, and tested it on myself. My temperature was taken quickly and, from what I could tell, was accurate. A few days ago, I had to use it on my 11 month old daughter when she was experience some tummy issues. I loved that it not only logged her temperature, but I could change how I was taking her temperature (orally, armpit, etc.) and log any symptoms or medicine doses. It remI'ded me with a notification to take her temperature again a few hours later. While I hope my family stays healthy and I'don't have to use it for illnesses, I can see this being a lifesaver in the mI'dle of the night or when things are hectic and we?re trying to remember temperatures and times of medicine doses. “This is my thI'd Kinsa product and I've loved them all! The thermometers are very reliable and accurate. My toddler is just learning to place it under his tongue correctly and likes that it has different faces that correspond to his current temperature. it's nice that the reading is so fast because he does not sit'still for long. I like this version best because you can use it with or without the app. I've always used the app and fI'd it helpful. Not only for tracking fevers but the tips for when to call the doctor. I like that with the new app it's easier to have multiple family members linked to the same account. One tap and you can easily change from one person to another. Very helpful if more than one person got the bug. In the app you can set remI'ders, set a preference for how the temperature is taken instead of choosing ever time, and record symptoms to track. The app is easy to navigate and is a handy tool to use in case you need to share information with a medical professional. The Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer is the best option for a thermometer out there. Add to that the convenience of a great app and that?s why I recommend it for anyone.
