“I have been very impressed with how user friendly the Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer is. The app set-up was seamless, paired instantly with my thermometer, and took less than five minutes to complete start to finish - including entering all of my family members into the app. I also love how you can distinguish where the temperature is taken; whether it be oral, rectal or under the armpit. The app is incredibly easy to navigate allowing you to switch between family members with ease. One app feature I'did fI'd unnecessary, however, is the option to link to local health data & see local health statistics. I know some may fI'd this useful, but I'decided to opt out as I feel it would be an added level of anxiety on top of dealing with a sick chI'd. As for actually taking a temperature, the thermometer turns on quickly. If you have the app active at the same time, it gives you a quick countdown to when the temperature reading is ready. Though it gives the reading in under ten seconds, this can feel like a lifetime with a wiggling chI'd. This is where it is handy to be able to choose between an oral, rectal or underarm temperature based on which is most appropriate per your situation. I can't recommend this thermometer more highly and think the pros greatly outweigh any drawbacks I found with this thermometer. I am an anxious mom when my chI'd is sick and I like to know I am getting an accurate temp reading without upsetting my chI'd too much. This one worked pretty fast and easy. The App is a nice feature for storing health data and understanding trends when she is sick. I like being able to see her historical timeline. The remI'ders are also helpful for medicine doses, etc.”
“Very simple to download and get set up on the app. I have several other devices at home that I use strictly through their apps so I'm no stranger to the system. Most thermometers now will temporarily record the last temp taken, but I appreciate that this keeps a permanent record of all the times temps were taken. It also seems to provide further insight should your chI'd's temp start to climb (or get too low). The thermometer itself is not bulky, bendable so my little one can't quite break it just yet, and as I'mentioned before - easy peasy to use. I've found the readings to be accurate so far (in comparing to our other thermometers), so I'm confident in continuing to use this. I appreciate that I am still able to get an on-body temp (opposed to a forehead/touch less scan) & it is quick enough to eliminate toddler wiggles & squI'ms. Getting the on body temp quickly eased my mI'd that the temp I was reading was accurate.
The app is the best part of this thermometer. You can make profile for each family member & it not only tracks their temp- but provides advice on what to do based off their age! I fI'd this incredibly helpful. This is an all-around go-to thermometer that needs to be in everyone's home!”

I LOVE the app. it's user friendly and my favorite feature is that there is a separate profile for each member of the family- all under one easy login! Additionally- it has a symptom tracker where you can input all of your symptoms and track them. It has recommendations per your fever on when you should call a dr vs go to the ER.

“I found this thermometer amazing. I tend to go through a lot of thermometers as they never seem to last long. I have not had this item for long but for the short time I have used it, I found it to work wonderfully. The app is very simple to use, even for those who are technically impaired. The thermometer connects with a click of a button, no instructions necessary. You can add each user so that it can keep track of the temperatures. The temperature is take within 8 seconds and is easy to use on my chI'dren under the arm. The results pop up on the app I'mediately. It does have a feature that asks questions to see if there are alarming symptoms and gives guidance on how to treat which can be helpful to some. My chI'dren do like the elephant on the app as it takes the temperature which is distraction for them. I would recommend this thermometer.†It does seem to be reliable when comparing it to other thermometers. I would recommend this to parents'with young chI'dren because of how quickly it gives the temperature. “This thermometer came just in time. Two of my three kids were sick this last week and this thermometer seems to be much more reliable and accurate than the others. It was easy to use and very quick (for wiggly littles that?s a must). I loved how the app gave advice and tracked temps too. Sometimes it's hard to remember what their last temperature was (when taking care of sick kids) so that was probably my favourite feature of the app, but everything seems pretty easy to navigate. “The Kinsa thermometer has it all! The thermometer itself appears simple with only one button, but combined with the app it takes care of everyone. The Kinsa app allows me to create a separate profile for everyone with their own avatar. With a simple click I can move between profiles and set I'dividual alarms for medication. And because I can record each reading, I have a history to show the doctor in case I ever need to go into the office. The app even gives helpful advice on what the do depending on the reading. The flexibility and quick read of the thermometer is great for squI'my kids. I was able to check my fussy 2 year old in his sleep. There is even a waiting screen in the app to help distract kids until the reading is complete. And just in case you don't use the app, the thermometer has an appropriate face icon to let you know if the reading is something to be of concern. This is now a vital part of my sick day arsenal and I am happy the Stellar Product Testing Panel gave this to me to try.”
