“I Purchased the Kinsa Smart Thermometer when my first son was born. It is small and very convenient to pack for weekend trips etc. it'seems to be very accurate and my kids don't mI'd using it in part because of the app which keeps them busy while the thermometer is working. it's convenient to be able to log temperature readings and other symptoms on the app. This was especI'lly useful this winter when my son had a week long episode of fevers and we had to report the symptoms and temperature readings to the doctor. My only complaint is with the changing iPhones, we have to make sure we have the correct adapter to ensure we can actually use the thermometer with our phones. Overall it is very useful, user-friendly, and the app is an added benefit.”

“We actually own both the Kinsa QuickCare and SmartEar thermometers and use them both on a regular basis. The QuickCare reads fast (within 10 seconds) and sync's directly to an app on your phone, which makes it easy to recall fever spikes and how long particular symptoms have been around when contacting the doctors office. It even allows you to keep track of medication so you know how many hours it's been since the last dose and to know "if it's time" again. I gave only 4 stars in my review as Kinsa recently updated their app and I'don't enjoy some of the user layout and features as much as I'did in the previous app version. For us personally, I want to see a historical listing of temperatures on the home screen, or at least within 1 click. The way the app is set up is by each household member, and the default displayed timeline only shows the last 4 or so readings - you have to click through to see the full timeline. The top of each household member's "home screen" is cluttered up with random health advice and alerts, which I personally do not fI'd useful. Our primary use for our thermometers is to read temperatures, that is what should be prominently displayed in my opinion. But it gets the job done so I'm happy with the unit and will continue to use both the QuickCare and Smart Ear to keep our family healthy.”
“To start, I will be the first to admit that I thought it was ridiculous to download an app and then have to hook a thermometer up to your phone in order to take a temperature, but boy was I wrong. it's everything I've ever wanted and needed in a thermometer. The app is so easy to navigate. it's very streamlined and I love that you can separate each family member to keep track of everyone's temps/symptoms/meds.
The thermometer works very quickly, like way faster than any other thermometer I've ever owned. Which is super great when dealing with a sick baby. The quicker the better. I love that the app has a little bubble popping game to distract the kids from getting the temp taken. Besides all of the other great features that is probably my fav one just because it helps the time pass with the littles so they?re not thinking about the thermometer.
I haven't compared temps between 2 thermometer to test for accuracy, but I'd say it'seems pretty spot on and consistent. I've taken back to back temps just because of high fever and not wanting to belI've it's true and have gotten the same results both times so this to me is an I'dicator that it is quite accurate.
I would also like to add that I've bought this thermometer for a couple different family members and friends that were expecting as shower gifts because I love it'so much! It is definitely a baby necessity!”
“I received this thermometer from my daughter's elementary school so our Kinsa app lets us know what is going on in the school as well. One of my favorite features of the app is the elephant while we are taking the temperature. It distracts my kids and lets me quickly get an accurate temperature. I also like that you can record the temperature, any other symptoms, any medication given, etc. When your chI'd is sick and you are worrI'd and tired, it is so nice to be able to pull up and know their trending temperatures and what has helped.”
“As a mom of three little ones it is so important to have reliable thermometer. The kinsa has been perfect. I programed all our family members names in the app so I can select whose temperature I'm taking. I love how you can also select on the app where you are taking the temperature from (rectal, underarm or oral). The app is super easy to navigate and gives you great recommendations on how to proceed medically. It also tracks the temperature so you can see how the person is doing, if it is rising or not. This is a really great thermometer, accurate and great bonus features with the app.”
