“Many thanks to the WeeSpring Parent Panel for providing this thermometer for my family to test! We have absolutely loved it. Unfortunately for me (and I suppose, fortunately for this review) my son, myself, and my husband came down with a nasty stomach bug after we got the thermometer. Even with me being so sick I could hardly walk to the bathroom, much less take care of daily tasks, I was still easily able to easily download and set up the app. I added everyone in the family in the beginning, and assigned us each an avatar. As I was the first to come down with said bug, it was primarily my profile I was using at first. The temperature is taken so quickly, which is an absolute gift from above when you're this nauseous. The results were incredibly easy to read, and I've noticed it'stores prior temperatures as well within the app. You can attach symptoms with each reading to see how the illness is progressing and get advice for how to take down fevers and mellow out your other symptoms. They also had a list of common myths on how to get rid of fevers, some of which I had regarded as common knowledge versus myth, so that was by far my favorite feature. I had no idea that the things I was doing to bring our fevers down actually weren?t working! My son (3) came down with it next, so I switched to his profile to do his temperature. He usually hates thermometers, he says they hurt. I'm not sure if it was the flexible top or watching the little bubbles that float on the app screen when the Kinsa is taking the temperature, but this is the first time he has ever stayed still for this. He even got a reputation as ?rodeo baby? at his last pediatrician for exactly this. After he was done, I just played around with the app while resting. it's incredibly easy to navigate, very straightforward, and full of information. This will be our go to thermometer now. “I am a converted Kinsa user now. I was hesitant to try the Kinsa thermometers at first. I am so sorry that I waited so long. To start off with, the Kinsa Quickcare thermometer has steadily read all of our temps in 5 seconds or less with full accuracy. That can not be said for the many "instant read" thermometers I have used in the past. The app was easy to download and connect to my phone. I love that I am able to set up profiles for each of my family members and track all their symptoms. It worked our perfectly that we all got sick I'mediately after I received it. I was able to take everyone's temps, notate their symptoms and keep track of everything with ease. This will be my new new parent gift from now on. I love the app feature to add different family members and track who had what temp and symptoms when. VERY HELPFUL. Both my toddler and myself had been sick and we both used the thermometer with good accurate readings.
The app also gives you advise according to symptoms happening and whether or not the temp reading I'dicates something you need to get to a Dr for.
